I had a lady at petsmart told me that incandescent light has enough uva/uvb for cham, and I don't need anything else... so... yeah.. very experienced...
So plants from walmart, home depot, etc are safe? All I have to do i just change soil, and rinse leaves? What kind of soil do I need to get? I got a potting mix at home now is it good?
Will my 3 mo old be able to chew on bigger ones? Also how long will they leave without their food? And, can I feed them regular veggies as for crickets, roaches, etc.

How long does it take for new chams to get comfortable with their new environment? I have my cham for week and a half, but he still gets shows black bars along his sides whenever I come near. I have tried hand feeding, but he would run away as soon as he sees that I am trying to open the door...
I just got a 100 small silkworms, but I only got 1 little cham, who will probably not eat all of them if I let them grow. So, Will refrigerator temp slow down their growing process? And, will they survive in there? Thanks.
I live in Arizona, so my general humidity was about 5% until i purchased humidifier. Now, it's 35% when I don't mist, so I had to order some ficus plants to get more humidity.
Superworms is more for adult chameleons. But you can probably find small ones that are good for juveniles. You can either hand feed him or put it in his feeding cup.
Thanks, good info. However I am still a bit confused. On that website it says to feed with spinach, parsley and etc. occasionally (which is right after staple food) and on the same level as carrots. On the other hand, spinach and parsley is in avoid list....
