Looks great! If you want, check out my cage set up albume. I only use fake plants for now, haven't graduated into using live plants quite yet. I love the creativity you can use with artificial plants! Seeing your setup makes me think a little bit of both is probably the best way to go!
I just moved to Orlando 4 months ago from California. This is my first hurricane experience! I don't have no extra water, no flash lights, no travel containers, no nothing! I was totally unaware and unprepared for all of this!
Yep, thats what I'd prefer, but to each is own. I'm not saying you'd be going wrong with the 24"x48". I'm just saying I did notice the little bit of sacrifice did make a difference. It was an experiment of mine because my first guy looked a little cramped and bored with just being able to climb...
Bigger is better in my opinion. With my experience I've learned the more space, the happier the chameleon! Movment up and down is nice, but with also being able to move left to right seemed to improve behavior/personality.
I like the Exo Terra Large screen terrarium, its 36"x18"x36" and it comes with the removable substrate tray included which I most definitely find useful with my enclosures!
To add some different insight to the thread, I've put together some pretty cool set ups in my opinion using all artificial plants and vines. Both of my guys seem to be growning up just fine! I haven't upgraded to live plants yet, but some day I will!

I know exactly what you mean @Kristen Wilkins! With owning a chameleon it amazes me how truly smart they are! I tell people all the time that chameleons with their little brains are actually smarter than some dogs! #fact
You'll have to confirm with some of the more experienced members, but from my experience I've been able to train my chams 12/12 cycles to fit my schedule. I have to be at work by 8:00am, so with lights on at 7:00am it gives me enough time mist, clean cage and feed him. I didn't ask the breader...
Smurf pretty much has his few selected sleeping spots he chooses from nightly. When I come home from work, the best part of my day is looking for which cozy spot he decided and it cracks me up sometimes when I can't find him at first glance, but then he pops up right in front of me out in the...
