Hi, all. For those who haven't been following, I recently lost our boy, an Ambilobe, to a horrific and sad accident. It was a devestating event and I didn't think I could love another Cham. I have always been partial to Ambilobes until yesterday when I held a gorgeous Nosey Be who stole my heart.

I wanted to officially introduce him to all with his own thread. I was shocked to see that even as a Nosey Be, he still displays a wide range of blue colors with a touch of reds on his face. He is very friendy, used to being handled (however we are limiting any handling until he adjusts to us), and he is a wonderful eater and drinker. He has his first vet appointment next weekend. He was a little dehydrated but I am sure it was from traveling to the Repticon. He loves Dubias the most, likes crickets, doesn't seem to care for worms (this week, that is lol! I know that could change). He actually enjoys being misted by the Climist as well as hand misted. He doesn't care for handfeedings but loves the hunt. Best of all, he isn't camera shy :)

Poor boy, after the incident with losing Proteus, he tolerates me checking on him regularly, even at night. He is 11 months old. He will never take Proteus' place in our hearts, but Viserion is helping our hearts heal. I'm sorry for all the pictures; I am just a very proud mommy :love:

We have our first poop and urate! Both look great! Never thought I would be so happy to see poo lol The bottom of his viv was wet from his last misting but his urate was good and white/chalky.

Thank you. I wasn't a huge fan until this boy climbed right up my arm and onto my ball cap I was wearing and just hung out lol. Then seeing all the different shades of blue and his red speckles on his face!:oops: He picked ME. After that moment, it was over lol. I walked into the rep show, eyes bloodshot and puffy from crying, and it was like he was saying, "it's ok, I can love you and help you heal". I am a believer in the cliché that everything happens for a reason, even the crappy stuff. I'm so paranoid tho that we are setting up a nanny cam :eek:

Poor Viserion, we heard a thump come from his viv and ran over. We uncovered his viv to find him curled up on the bottom the cage fast asleep. I pulled the doors open and nudged him until he woke up. I made him walk because I was afraid he had fallen while sleeping and hurt himself. He looked at me all groggy like, "wtf mom!" then climbed 6 inches up a branch and went back to sleep. Ugh, I will be glad when I am not stressed over every little move or sound! I think it came from his branch moving that he had been basking on all day.

Really? His urate is the white splotch about an inch from his poo and it was solid white. Unless I'm seeing something wrong. When I cleaned it up, it was solid white and chalky.

Really? It is solid white. A little came out orange with his poop, but the rest was solid white and chalky. We are working hard to rehydrate him from his trip to the Repticon and he drinks all day long. His urate actually landed about an inch from his poop.
