It is the same cham. He hasn't lost any toenails on that foot but he does have a loose nail on it. I suppose that could be the cause, but he lost four nails on his front feet before we could manage to get something larger to line the mesh that was too small. He never did this with any of the others.

I turn all the lights out but I do leave a light on in the kitchen as low as I can, just so that if he wakes up at any point in the night and needs move, he can see a bit. But he's fallen asleep with a room fully lit before.
