    If he's still young thats just his defense in my oppinion.. mine did the same but I'd pick him up and let him chill on me for a lil anyway. Once he knows your not messing with him he will settle down.

    That makes sense.. I mean could my guy be a late bloomer too? Cuz even night colors still seem dull compared to other younger veileds? And also I recently got new uvb heat bulbs.

    It seems like he never wants to get brightly colored? When he sleeps you start to see the yellow stripes and blue dots but during the day he seems quite dull.. He's around 7-8 months. Is this just a phase?

    Ill have to agree with everyone.. to me personally pygmys are the only ones. Thats what I wanna do with my unused exo terra. But even then only 1 to 2 max.
