Unfortunatly, chameleons seem to not like to be handled. But some will tolerate it. It all depends on your cham. :) Just go slow and be patient, thats your best bet.
His cage should be alright. But him not eating is an issue. Try cup feeding (with the cup attached to the branch, he may not be comfortable eating in front of you). Some recommended feeders are (gutloaded) crickets, and silkworms. Both are good staple feeders. Some good "treats" are hornworms...
Very nice! Looks great. Just telling a funny story, I put the Fluker's vine in my cham's cage and he was scared to DEATH of it. Did not move for two hours... So I had to take it out :(
I recently added a scheflerra plant to my 5 month old panther's enclosure. It appears that he has taken a few bites out of the plant. Should I remove the plants or is this okay?
This depends on what size enclosure you have, also what catches your eye! I personally love the Panthers, they are beatiful and forgiving when it comes to mishaps in care with first time owners. :P
