If you have hard water it would be easy for it to get clogged. You can test your water with a TDS meter if necessary, or use RO/distilled water. You can get an RO filter for around $100 or less.
Also, I would make sure all the connections are tight. It can take a lot of force sometimes to...
Yeah, the quad fixture will let you have double or more visible light, but you still don't need more than one 6% UVB bulb for chameleons. So choosing between the quad or the double is mostly decided by whether you want better plant growth or high-light plants. There is never too much light for...
LightYourReptiles sells T5 HO fluorescent fixtures. The old fixtures are based on T8 fluorecents. T5's are thinner and output much higher quantities of visible light as well as additional UVB. There are many other manufacturers of T5 fixtures and bulbs as well, since it is an industry...
Turning brown does not mean he doesn't like the light. They turn darker to absorb more heat, and will often flatten out angled toward the light as well. Just make sure the basking temp does not go over 85F for his age.
You can also check out the care sheet below...
What wattage is the UVB bulb? I would recommend either a ReptiSun 5.0 or Arcadia 6% bulb, preferably a T8 or T5 tube, although the CFL versions can also work if set up properly. If you have to stick with an Exo-Terra CFL, I would recommend a 26W UVB100.
Whatever bulb you use you need to...
I use wooden dowels and thumbtacks from the hardware store. They are easy to cut and get the right size. Make sure the thumbtacks are small enough to fit through the screen. However, if you like the look of real branches you can use them as long as they are clean.
Welcome to the forums! You should be able to get lots of good advice here! I am glad you were able to rescue your chameleon from those bad conditions. Can you copy and paste and fill out the form below?

I don't seem to be able to see the cut...
Moving to a new cage can be stressful so it can also exaggerate any previously existing issues.
You say he has two 100W basking bulbs, what kind of UVB bulb does he have? Are you using only an infrared temp gun for the temps? If so, I would verify with a normal temp probe; even the best IR...
I would recommend you use a separate fluorescent UVB bulb, preferably a ReptiSun 5.0 or Arcadia 6% tube. The basking bulb can be a standard incandescent, and the hottest basking site should be 85-90F for a male panther. You can adjust the temperature by changing the distance of the bulb or...
What type of vitamin supplements are you using, and what do you gutload the feeder insects with? What kind of UVB light are you using?
I would start with the shower method. Put her on a plant or branch in the shower, and have the water bounce off the wall onto her. It should be just mist...
You could probably fit a few anoles in there as long as it will fit the necessary equipment since they need similar lighting as chameleons. If I remember correctly the females can live together but the males need to be kept separate unless breeding. I imagine it may also work for pygmy...
If the eye looks normal, it is probably either something stuck in her eye or a vitamin A deficiency. If it is something stuck in her eye, you may be able to get it out with water or pure saline, and if it is a vitamin problem there are ways to fix that as well. However, if it is an infection...
I would not use less than a 26w ReptiSun 5.0 CFL. A tube T8 or T5 would be better. If he is trying to get close he is probably trying to get more UVB.
If he is getting close to the basking bulb and turning dark/stretching out it is because he is trying to get as much heat as possible. What...
You could look at the flchams safe plant list:

Pothos and Schefflera (umbrella tree) are the most common and both are very easy to maintain. Pothos is the hardier of the two, it is very difficult to kill. However, it also depends on whether...
I think its supply and demand and they are cheap because they are the most popular species that is bred the most. It seems like most of the new people on these forums need help with veileds.
I currently have a veiled and a couple panthers and they are both great.
95F is fine for a veiled cham, although you don't want to go over this. However, individual chameleons have different tolerances for temperatures, so it is best to watch him.
If he tries to get farther away from the basking light while still having it on him, it is probably too hot...
What species of chameleon are you planning to get?
I know the sponsors are supposed to all be pretty good. I don't know what is required to become a sponsor and what quality checks are done, hopefully someone else can answer that.
I have personally had very good experiences with Panther...
Since it has a substance that keeps coming back I would think it is some sort of infection. I would recommend taking her to a vet as she may need eyedrops/antibiotic.
Vitamin A deficiency usually starts with one eye staying closed, but to my knowledge there would not be a buildup in this case.
Yes, a single 22" Arcadia 6% bulb will be plenty of UVB as long as you keep it at the proper distance, and 6500k bulbs are great for plants. Just make sure your fixture is T5 HO and not regular T5 since these are high output bulbs.
Just think of mealworms/superworms/waxworms as a treat...
