I bought some blue bitaeniatus baby's today and a new female from Benny from the regular form, I'll post some pictures later.
But 1 baby and the female are not 100% now. I let them rest first.

I look if I can find some pictures. The only difference I see is that the size of the horns with jack jack seems to be equal and with meru ony one is really developed.
I haven't been really succesfull with jack jack.

I don't know who talked about the big rostal horns, but jack jack also can have big rostal horns when born.
I don't agree rudis/sternfeldi should be kept in pairs, specially not by beginners!

I haven't been informed enough but I never use regulat 100W lamps. And to be honest I'm not sure they stop producting the spots. The goal is a saving a lot of energy for home use. I'm sure for our hobby there will be alternatives.
And on the other hand I think it is really not smart to use...

Experience is one thing, on the other hand it is telling people about what is happening and then mainly explaining why it is as it is. Most people can give advice of comments very easily, but the eplantion often lacks. That is really a shame.

with the live bearers it is not really usual they stop eating.
They tend the feed on smaller food but not really stop.
I also prefer giving flies to baby's and a little later pinheads.
