    My new panther !

Give him time to get used to his new home. Once he is more comfortable he will start to explore. Try to give him some space, only going into the enclosure when you have to and do it slowly. He sees you as a threat right now and needs to get used to you being around. Some chams are just more...

    Enclosure Ideas

You definitely have come to the right place and Welcome!! On the left side of the page there are links for Care Resources, I would start there to learn what you need to to get set up. If you have specific questions you can use the search function to see if there are existing threads or, if...

    My new panther !

Congratulations!! Both of my boys are from Chameleon Paradise. Bruce is a great resource and has wonderful Chams. Who is your chams sire? My next cham will be a son of Candy Cane Jr I think.

    Looking for Hornworms

I order mine from MulberryFarms, also a sponsor and in Ca. Might be better this time of year with the cold. Great Lakes (who I have also ordered from and was very satisfied with) is over in the cold area of the country...Not that its very warm here on the West Coast right now.

    misters

That is how my boys act with the Raindomes as well so I don't use an additional dripper

    Most absorbent/fast-drying substrate?

I used these for a bit with a different enclosure, the generic hospital one I picked up at Target (in the pharmacy section)were less expensive than the puppy pads and I was concerned that the puppy ones had attractants and didn't know if those pheromones might adversely affect the chams. No one...

    misters

Agree Aquazamp or Mistking. I have the Aquazamp Raindomes and I have never regretted the purchase for a minute. I get mist and droplets. The thing to remember with the cheaper models is that you get what you pay for...I was lucky enough to research here before I invested and didn't get...

When should I make the move?

I agree with Big Gulp. When my boys hit that age they really start to travel all over the enclosure. I think they are coming in to their teenage time and are cruising for girls.

New setup after the big move

The move itself was not very dramatic. I have used pop up hampers as temp enclosures while i did some redesign. When i tore down the enclosures i found a crap ton of dubias under the pan. I was prepared with the shopvac but decided that i really hated those pans. Soooo, since the table i have is...

    Do y'all remember Walker?

Does he watch football... It amazing, but I think I have the less than scientific reason why it happened? I think he switched from being a Seattle Seahawks fan to being a Kansas City Chiefs fan, gotta show those team colors! :D There's no accounting for taste?

    Dragon Strand

Cages look great. Love the drainage trays. I just put 2 cages and 2 trays in the cart and calculated shipping at $120. Is USPS the only way these can be shipped. That's prohibitive. I would think UPS or Fedex would be cheaper.

    Wooden dowels?

I use curly willow branches for this reason, and they have nice twists and turns. My guys like them vertically as well.

    Help

Before you consider the chameleon read the Care Resources links. https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/chameleons/ That will help you decide what you want, and can afford. You might get a chameleon for $50 but the setup will cost a few hundred and the ongoing care for feeders and things is...

    Aquazamp

Here they are side by side. I just put the regular one there for comparison. The low profile 'rains' in a wider, but thinner area. It looks nicer ;) Kevin Zamp is awesome. I would not hesitate to recommend this product. I have used it for a few months now, with no trouble. I have had...

    eating dirt..good or bad?

I have a dirt eater...He is bound and determined to nibble some dirt every morning. I have covered it, added rocks, you name it...he moves rocks, worms his way under the covering...I have even chastised him to no avail. I swear its like his morning coffee...So far I have seen no ill effects...

    Adjacent Cages?

I have a white vinyl shower curtain between my two cages so my two males do not see each other. I did notice this weekend that there is an occasional shadow as one walks past the barrier, but perhaps because there is no color they don't seem to notice. Marshawn was looking right at the barrier...
