I have another pic for the original poster but I'll get it up tomorrow morning. It's a picture of a baby sired by the latter of the two ambilobe in lance's post. The super deep red one. The male I got from that sire is spectacular. His colors are unbelievable now. I believe he is approx. a year...
I personally see no problem with it s you would already be feeding them to other snakes anyways. Your chams would enjoy a treat every once in great while. I'm sure there are high in protein so feed them those too often and gout with occur. but a snake for gravid female or a female who had just...
They look amazing. I love this species and wish we could get some CB/CH here in the US alot more often. They are so gorgeous as adults. Congrats.

Thanks, he's one of my favorites. The female he was bred to had produced high orange/yellow offspring similar to him for the local breeder I got her from. He is CH and come from the chameleon company. I paid around $200 shipped for him and he has turned out amazing. He was 14 months old at the...
I have babies that just hatched from the first male. They are 3 days old. And believe it or not the red bar is actually a blue bar except when he is breeding. Here are a couple pics of him normally. He is from Lance Lindgren's high red ambilobe from his photo gallery on here.

Here's one of my little "It's" Lol :) I believe I have a male and female based on behavior so far. No to mention my smaller one has a significantly thicker tail based in both width and height. "He" is very clingy as well following my larger baby around everywhere. When they...
I have two of them being housed together at the moment. I tried seperating them but they were both very stressed. They have to sleep touching each other. I'll post pics of them in a couple hours. They have grown quite a bit and are doing very well. They are loving the wild caught grasshoppers...
Yes you can but in a sense you are still supporting wild caughts because every captive bred chameleon comes from wild caught lineage. They didn't just appear here in america captive born. In some ways I support it and in others I don't. Once they come into the country I will buy them because I...
I feed cultured house flies to my chameleons all the time along with blue bottle flies. Feeding wild caught flies can be bad for your chameleons as they are known to carry diseases and parasites due to their diets. Normally I'm all for the wild caught prey items but not with flies. They are so...
They all look good. The female quad Jet is very plump. Is she gravid or just well fed? Sorry I don't keep many montane and don't know if the quads have gravid colors like oustie's or panthers and such.
He looks alot like Todd's male ambilobe Salvador, like alot alot. He is very vibrant. Good luck with the attitude. They tend to get nicer if you feed them their favorite food alot. It's mantis and dragonflies for my guys so whenever I have those and they see them they are alot nicer.

All my chams love any type of beetle. If you put the beetle or the super worm on the screen/mesh and let it crawl up it usually does the trick. I don't have a cham that will refuse supers or super beetles. Hopefully he comes around.

I go back and forth on this debate from time to time but in the end the question I always ask myself is whether I would ever see *insert chameleon's name here* again if I left the cage door open and my answer is usually no because they would almost all rather be free than in cages. There are the...
