Just about done with the wood frame and now need to know what people are using to stain and seal the wood that are also safe?

I need to build a new cage for my 5 month old panther.....he is in a 16x16x30 and in need of some more room. I was hoping for tips, tricks , lessons learned and good ideas (photos being a plus ....I'm a visual learner :) ).......

ok....i went to the store and was checking out the cameras and found I like the feel of the cannon rebel.....anybody have experience with one of those?

I will be a beginner with something more than a point-and-shoot. Have been checking out the Nikkon 3100.....not as big as say the D90 nor as expensive but looks to take a pretty nice photo..... It takes the place of the 3000. Anybody use either of these?

There is a little piece of shed stuck on the tip of my panthers nose. He shed 3 days ago and I was wondering if I should try and get it off? Not sure if I want to stress him out from trying if not needed. I have had crested geckos and was told to remove little pieces of shed that didnt come...
