That idea above my comment is a good idea just might cause a little splash effect in the enclosure as well with water. But should be fine.

He could be getting adjusted to the new enclosure as well as the surroundings. Give it time try feeding him everyday all you can do until he/she starts eating.

It could be to hot up top for him, the branches might be to high to the top of the cage as well mine hated being to close to the top so he stayed away until I lowered branches then he was up at the top all happy.

Im sure he is okay, I would think they would get tired more due to how small it is and would require more sleep and as they get older have more energy during the day. But that's my opinion
