If you look at how skinny his legs and tail are, and how pronounced his spine is, it looks like he needs to be fattened up quite a bit. He may be this small at this age because he wasn't getting enough food? If he has little nubs at the heel of his feet, he's a male.

Any news? A good long misting, including spraying in the face a bit, can help the cham wash out its eye. Antibiotic eye drops may be necessary. I hope the vet was able to help!

Leonard the chameleon is going to need a second surgery in a few weeks. :( He had surgery already to remove an abscess on the ridge of his nose. Now he has a new one (or a recurrance?) in the tear duct of the side where the original abscess was. Leonard was on antibiotics for 10 doses...

Having the vet run a fecal exam for parasites isn't very expensive, it's about $20 at our vet. That could give you peace of mind.

Are you able to find a reputable reptile vet in your area? This can go badly VERY quickly, it doesn't take much for a little female to die egg-bound... a vet can help though, if it's on time. Good luck!
