Heres some info about our little guy
approx 5-6 months old
we've had for maybe 2 months
we keep him in a glass aquarium for now while he is so small, plastic plants and things to climb on. Heated lamp (temp around high 70's low 80's through day) basking light...low humidity.
seems to poop normal, was a really good eater till about 2 weeks ago. Use those orange cubes to gutload crickets that we feed him.
We're in the midwest, so its COLD right now, but we keep the temperature in here fairly normal, and the temps in his cage seem at the right levels for him.
We dont hold him very often, he gets REALLY upset when we do. but his colors are so beautiful!!
He started not eating as much, didnt notice anything was wrong till i found him on the bottom of the cage not moving. Thank goodness he was still alive. We found a site that said to hand feed him (pedialyte, mashed crickets, and calcium) we've been doing this for about a week, and he seems like hes getting better one minute, than the next he looks bad again...??? We'realso misting him with a reptile spray that is supposed to replace electrolytes and such so that he stays hydrated (once a day) He also has a patch that goes around one side of his body around his leg that will not return to his normal green brightness. Seems weird bcuz the rest of him usually turns back to that beautiful bright green color. He is so weak, cannot climb at all, just lays on the bottom of the tank. Is there anything else we should be doing? We're trying to care for him as best as we can, but are at a total loss as far as what else could be done. Thanks everyone!
