Bad Eyesight??

Hi All,
I have a 9 month old Veiled Cham. I was wondering if it is normal for them to miss sometimes when they are zapping their food? Larry will miss once in a while and other times he'll miss like 5-6 out of 10. I had a veiled before, years ago and he never had this problem. He has fallen off his branches every now and again when he is reaching, so after seeing him miss with his roaches makes me wonder if he he in fact does have bad eye sight.
Thanks ahead of time.

How about a pic and a little more info to help out.

OK, I knew I should have put his info down first. He has free range of pretty much 3 sets of windows, but he only really stays in two of them. Both sets of windows have UVB lighting and two different heat lamps with temps ranging from 85-95 degrees. Two windows are south facing and his favorite window is west facing, the south windows get tons of sunlight all day and the west window get lots of sun in the afternoon. So he likes to range back and forth throughout the day. In both window seats and the front window that he likes are plants to hide in and ropes across the ceiling that he uses to get from window to window with out being bothered by the cats or dogs. I feed him once a day as many dubia roaches as he can eat, dusted in calcium powder and multi vitamin powder once a week. I can't tell you how many he eats, I don't count. I just put a bunch in to a tupperware and hold onto him while he pigs out, when he is done he climbs up my arm and back to his rope into the plants.

I have a container of water that has a thin tube coming out of it that I turn on and let drip for about 1/2 hour every day plus misting a couple times a day. He hates to have his photo taken and will usually gape for them. The plants are all on the non-toxic list, they are spider plant, dracaena, fern, donkey tail, wandering jew, and mother in law tongue. He is a very healthy little guy. He has been missing his food pretty much since I got him, the same goes for the falling. He almost never falls anymore but seems to do that only when he is really reaching for something out of his range. Missing his food is almost a daily occurrence.
