My chameleon has been showing a lot of brown/black colors I changed his uvb light as it was 6 months old I couldn't come across a reptisun 5.0 so I had to get the repti-glo exo-terra for now.....the first 2 or 3 days it seemed like the bulb made him brighter colors the only way I can get him to brighten up is taking him in the natural sun light then minutes or hours later he's brown....I'm thinking maybe since he just finished antibiotics again that he's still not well as I've seen him breathing through mouth any suggestions?????

his temps are 85-90 basking and 75-80 through from bottom to middle, he eats romain lettuce and kale like every day and crickets often they get dusted 2-3 times a week in regular calcium and 2 times a month in D3 and vitamins

You mention "antibiotics again." Have you taken him to a vet recently?

he was at the vet around may 19th and they gave him trimethoprim for 21 days

also he was in the vet in january for the same problem but i think its persistent from low humitdity which i can never keep up, one member on the forums told me that 25% humidity wasnt a big concern with daily mistings......but now according to others it has to be up for him to get rid of mucus in his throat and nasal passages. Iam picking up a cool mist humidifier from a friend soon
