I was wondering if roach motels would work on escaped crickets?
Probably not, the rates for rooms are more expensive for non-roach guests.

I was wondering if roach motels would work on escaped crickets?
Hahaha!!!! Kitty cat sounds a lot like my dog except my dog will bark at my dresser until it comes out from underneath....I mean, if I were a cat, I'd be pretty confused about a chirping fridge tooNot effective in my case... My dumb cat is staring under the fridge wondering why its chirping!
Gotta love those little nuggets when they catch you totally off guard.....honestly, it's become like a comedy around here. Got your wall crickets, your dresser crickets, floor crickets, on your face in the middle of the night crickets......I use the stupid critter keepers (not the cricket ones w the tubes) and mine are deff getting out of it, no idea how... Luckily I got a double reinforcement set up.. i have one big clear bin and put my 2 cricket critter keepers in it(one for small crickets and one for large crickets) then i put the plastic bin w my feeder roaches in there too then shut it.. i keep finding crickets in the bottom of the big bin tho, outside the critter keepers.. only the smaller ones.i also use big bins to transfer crickets from the keepers to a deli container feeder cup to feed, incase any try to jump out. i left 2 crickets in the chameleon cage one time and next day there was a cricket climbing my bedroom wall. im like ahhhhhh nope, if you dont finish what i hand feed you, thats it, no snacks left in ur cage unless its worms in a glass dish.. haha
I'm seriously getting concerned I found a minute baby cricket in with the pressies under the tree and am hoping for two things this Christmas a. No infestation and b. No crickets in presentsHelp!! I read to put a home trap did it work noooo!!Gotta love those little nuggets when they catch you totally off guard.....honestly, it's become like a comedy around here. Got your wall crickets, your dresser crickets, floor crickets, on your face in the middle of the night crickets......
I have a smaller bucket for my crickets and keep it at the bottom of my cage so if any do escape my chameleon will eat themhey everyone, I have a problem with my feeder crickets! Somehow they are getting out of the cage I keep them in!!!!! Now I'm just curious as to if anyone else has these problems! I'm using one of those petstore cricket keeper houses and it doesnt seem to have very large holes, definitely small enough for a cricket not being able to get through, but somehow they are! Anyone have any experience dealing with crickets somehow making a seemingly impossible escape?
Can crickets squeeze themselves past small spaces?
Gotta love 3 year old threads lolI have a smaller bucket for my crickets and keep it at the bottom of my cage so if any do escape my chameleon will eat them
I usually do. It was all they had at the shop today and roaches are on the way.Ditch the crickets and go to roaches and silkworms.
Yeah I'm the one who resurrected the thread (didn't realize it would ping everyone... haha) and I never use crickets anymore, for all of the reasons we all know. Roaches are backordered from my usual sources so I had to get crickets at the store this time. Blowing my mind how they're escaping no matter how secure the keeper is. They're pretty big! For tonight I"m putting them in my kitchen trash can. Try getting out of that motherf*ckers! If you’re leaving crickets in your cham’s enclosure...even one...make sure to put a piece of greens or veggie in for it to eat so it won’t bite your cham. And switch to roaches...so much cleaner!
