Free Range Ideas??

I do a 24/7 with a panther, not to sure about jacksons. Here's a picture of my free range to give you some what of an example also check through the free range here you can get an idea from other's if you are not free ranging all the time. I've seen some really awesome set-ups on here.

Honestly from what I have read (and seen in some cases) that it actually creates a happier and more friendly cham. This guy has been with me for about a month, he constantly comes down when I am on the computer in the room or when im down messing with the rocks to say hi, it's like he actually wants the attention Also, I have noticed owners who have started with enclosures and have had a hard time to try to get some to free range even after having their cham for a while.
I'm also a weirdo who never wants to cage animals lol

These are crappy pictures, but here is my set up for my panther and my jackson. They free range everyday in the afternoon and all weekend. We have the free range set up so that we can just connect a vine from the cages to it and they can go in and out as they please.

Pigglett79- What is the cover on the sides of the cages?I assume it has something to do with humidity.

It is a piece of outdoor cloth. It is so that the boys dont see each other when they are inside their cages. I put it on the jackson side as he needs more humidity.

Here are some original pictures of my free range from a thread I started:

Since then, besides having a clean garage, my set up has been slightly tweaked.
But the basic set up I have is:
1. a plastic basin to catch water, with a hole on one corner to allow for drainage
2. plastic bin sits on top of an end table, to allow for a 5 gallon drainage bucket, and to keep the chameleon off the floor (mine likes to venture down to the base of his tree, and if the tree sits on the floor, he will climb down. If he sees he has a 2 foot drop, he just enjoys the view
3. Two artificial trees that are bungee'd to each other/the base/end table. Keeps it pretty stable.
4. I have 4 different types of branches that I have bungee'd to the artificial trees. They provide a highway between the two trees, and allows for some wet areas, and some sunbathing areas.
5. I zip tied UV lights, and clamp lamped heat lamps in the rafters of my garage. Oh I also have a MistKing set up ran into the rafters so one area gets two minutes of spray every hour (adequate for my veiled; may not be for a jacksons).
6. I have a sunny d death trap for crickets, and a separate tupperwear bin for roaches (with olive oil around the walls). I have yet seen him eat a roach though.
Sometimes my chameleon decides to venture off of the tree. I have found him about 5 different times hanging out in the garage. Luckily he gets cold after leaving the tree and stays close. Also I do not have dangerous pets that may eat him. My dog is scared of him after I was holding him and she came to sniff and he puffed up and hissed and threw a fake gaping bite. But my dog is pretty submissive anyways.

How do you keep him sprayed down? Just curious as I did not see anything on the floor to catch water but it is also hard to tell by the pic. I have been thinking of setting up a more permanent free range for Waldo but can't get past what I could use for the floor and still look nice. That is the only way I can do it as one of the rules in my house i have to follow is i can do what i want with cages etc....but it has to look good
. For now I have a vine from his cage to a hanging pothos with vines that he goes out on when I am home. H loves it so much and often gets down via going back to his cage and climbing the stand to get on our large screen doors

Here is my mini free range, mostly for my panther Malcolm. The others seem to prefer the security of their cage, but Malcolm loves to explore, so I set this up for him.
I worry too much about the dogs, lightbulbs, and other potential hazards (like accidently stepping on him or injuring him somehow) to free range without supervision.
He gets to spend most evenings after work on the free range and a lot of the weekend.
