So a long-overdue update: I taped a piece of paper over my vent to redirect the heat. I also got the temp control probe and that's been able to keep temps no higher than a registered 81 degrees. Adding misting sessions during the day and eliminating the fan on top of the cage has helped humidity too. I think I'm in a MUCH better space now. Urates are still white, and no signs of burns or overheating. Boogie is happily eating all (or most of) his offered bug variety, and seems quite happy!
