Help me figure out the sex/type of panther!

I'm sorry for posting this in the breeder's section but i figured you guys would know best!
I would like to know where this puppy is from and what sex he is!
I bought him from a man who owns a small pet store and had this cute guy as a mascot, he had no idea the sex or anything.
Also the man told me that he/she is 1.5 years old do you agree?

That is a male. It looks as if it is a tamative. If I'm not confused.

Yes, he is a male and and looks like a Tamatave. Sometimes it is hard to judge their age after they are at a certain size and coloration. But 1.5 years old is close to what he looks like.

That guy is certainly a tamatave. Its seems that you, among a few other members have suddenly found out they have tamataves in the past few weeks. Good suprise. He looks good, be sure to post some pics when he has completed his shed.
