hi,
my adult male panther chameleon stopped eating about 3 days ago. he is 1 haft years old. i tried all different foods and he wont eat. he is well hydrated i know for a fact. he has changes to a darker color. i think i am going to haft to big him to the vet, does anyone know of a vet that is not going to make me go broke? i called one and he want 225. just for the check up is this a fare price? i live in new york long island. any ideas of how to get him to eat. all his food is gut loaded with bug burger and dusted with repashy calcium plus the all in one. he had a new UVB light and the tempter is is in the 90' s at the basking spot. he is a 2x2x4 screen cage. i have 2 other panthers in the same set up and they eat fine. does he sound sick? can it spread to the others? could this be as simple as he just doesn't want to eat, a hunger strike. he is duke if anyone want to take a look at my pictures.
