I adopted a Veiled, help with a few questions!

Niice dude.. you're doing an excellent job with Kamo.

Thanks. I try to offer all my pets the best possible care. I gave him a shower today to help with the shed.

He has started to eat the leaves off his Hibiscus tree, then went on a slight feeder strike. Guess he was full off greens. He's recently started back eating superworms and i got him some silkworms.

Kamo has gotten soo big from when i first got him.

My Veiled Kamo has come around and wants to taken out his cage, he cant wait!!lol..It's just the sharp nails kills my hands and arms.

My little Ambilobe Chance is a lil spunky, he gapes everytime i open his cage. Never bites, but he has a little attitude.

The new Little Gargamel Ambanja is the sweetest!! He just goes with the flow.

That makes the 2 of us! lol

On another note. I will be going FULL B.Dubia as soon as i feed off my 1000 crickets.!!

I'll have to show my wife the perks of having a feeder that don't jump or chirp!

All my Chams cup feed , i will just buy crickets locally once a week to switch things up. But i'll be expanding my B.Dubia colony soon.

I cant have dubia here in florida. Only drawback!
But I can have Discoids. I'm trying to find someone that sells them by the 1000, but its difficult as no roaches can be shipped to florida.

well Kamo has gotten huge in what seems like overnight... He is 17" long and still growing.

omg hes huge!!!!!!!!! he looks so good :)

all of my Chams are getting huge!! I have to get a scale! I am really curious to see just how big they are getting and how fast!!

PS: Do you guys think Kamo is getting fat? I do notice a belly when he sits up on his hind legs, lol

No- fat is stored in his casque and along the sides of his vertebrae- he has very little fat stored there in your photos compared to most actually. Must be putting everything into growth. He looks healthy, but even if he gained a little more weight wouldn't hurt him either.

He's a pretty lizard.

i just went through all 24 pages of this thead(little dizzy!). looks like you did an awesome job with kamo, can't wait to see the little panthers in a few months!

my sister went to environmental studies as well, of course..no chams to rescue whe she was there.. -_-

I am trying a new gutload/supliment mix now , and i can't wait to see if it works. If it does, things are going to get interesting!

Yea. I found 2 owners with Ambanja brothers from the same clutch as my Azriel. They are currently not using this mix. It will be fun to compare as they grow .

Point to make : My Ambanja is currently much smaller than theirs.
