I think my chameleon is sick please help

I have been looking at my chameleons poop and I have noticed it's not even brown! I feed him 7-8 large crickets a day and sometimes he'll eat the umbrella plant at times and that's another thing that concerns me because I was also told that happens when he is thirsty. Another thing that freaked me out was what was on his poop. I tiny grains of salt looking bugs on his poop. Please help!! And I have yet to see him drink. Pet store claimed the mister will get the leaves wet and leave plenty of water for him to drink in the leaves. I handle him at least 5 times for 10 min. His bulb is powersun uv. I'm not an expert by any means,but it's normal for some chameleons like veileds to eat plants...
Insects in the feces, says parasites for most animals.... if I saw that I'd get a fecal float done at the vets, they'll prolly give you panacur or something and everything should be fine.

Somebody with more experience should be along shortly to give you better advice. I'm not sure if it's common for chams to have visible parasites in their feces. But that would be my first thought.

That cage design is horrible, I'd take that dome off the top because I'm sure it is way too hot in there. Taking the top off will allow for some breeze. Those cages fog up when the dome is on and get too hot. What tempatures are you getting? That bulb is very high wattage. I wouldn't hold him 5x for 10 mins, maybe once a week holding. If you put some taller plants in there and mist them 5 or so times a day he'll start drinking off them. But either get a new cage or do those changes to that cage.

• Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
• History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:

• Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
• Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
• Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
• Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
• Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
• Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
• Location - Where are you geographically located?

Take a pic on the poop whenever u can,it seems like a parasite issue.
