Identify my new Cham

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to reach out and ask what you all think of my new guy here. His name is Fuji. He was identified only as a "Panther Chameleon" I think he is a Blue Bar Ambilobe, but honestly the bars are red some times and I am not sure. Also, I know Sambava's have a U shaped bar on their sides and he has one on his left side, but an Ambilobe coloring. I have a Nosy Be and a Veiled as well. He is WC and has been captive for about 9 months, he is very healthy and seems very well adjusted. Thank you for your time.

That is a very nice panther chameleon. He looks to me like an Ambilobe, but since you do not know his origin, you can't label him as it. He is still beautiful though!

Definitely looks like an Ambilobe to me but I'm no expert. Sometimes the Y and U bars won't be perfectly formed so it can be difficult to tell.

Whatever he is, he's gorgeous!

He looks straight up ambilobe to me the coloring looks alot like my cham thats captive bred and is an ambilobe, he can be one of those blue/red bar mixes in between that is also common

his lateral line is intense!!! congratz for taking care of him. He does look huge:eek:

Thanks everyone

He is a blast. His tail is pretty enormous, it seems to be about the size of all of the rest of him, and he uses it a lot more than my other Chams. I assumed the muscle was more built up from 'wild' life. The stripe was one thing that threw me, it is kind of a neon blue and almost seems like it glows, I was used to seeing white. His lips and spots on his head get like that when he sees our Nosy Be (female) too. It made me think that maybe he was some odd ball morph that I had not read about. Thank you for all of your comments.

@ Ace, I love your pic, he does seem to have the same color and electric blue lateral stripe. Thanks!
