Introducing Mary and Jane the Furcifer Willsii

Im sure they will do great!

Lol that must take a while. They are already eating? They settled pretty fast then. Or is that normal for this species?

By the way I love their names

Thanks

hah yes it take a little while but I noticed the baby roaches usually hang out around the females so if I track them down there is usually a few babies huddling around her.

as for there temperament my male is extremely shy but will flare up at you as he runs away lol. The females seem way more confident and not shy at all.

thank @GoodKarma19 helped me name them, fitting since she help me name cheech and Chong ?

Aww thanks, I’ve been testing my lenses on my camera and Larry is the most willing subject. Everyone else hates me ? Sorry of my life
It’s a fine line between love and hate . 1/2 the world is hateful let them get in line ;) . Tell them to go suck a white owl !.

We it’s been almost a month now of me owning the girls and thought I would give an update on them...
Jane
She’s doing very well the most curious one, I can find her usually hanging out on top or at the front of her cage just staring out. She has a beautiful green with lavender spots

Mary
She’s extremely shy and I try to not bug her, she always hiding in the thick foliage when she’s not basking. She has more of a deep green with yellow stripes, she may be Gravid.

The great part is I’ve witnessed them eat a few times and not tongue choking or retraction issues like cheech had!! I’m so happy they are eating and not sleeping all day like cheech did. That was my biggest fear when I maked the decision to try again with the furcifer willsii

They are gorgeous! I'm happy that they are doing well for you! I hope that they continue to flourish under your care.

beautiful girls :)!
Thanks my family and I have really been enjoying them
I saw the girls before they shipped out. They seem to be flourishing under your care. Great photos you really captured their beauty.
Thank you Jill for everything you did for them and the others ❤️ I hope the continue to thrive for me. I put a mantis ooth in there cages, so far only janes hatched but she had a ball hunting them.

So recently I had to move everyone inside due to extreme weather 100+. I was freaking out becuse I thought someone was going to have to go a few days without a uvb light but then I remembered my 48” hood,16x3=48, duh jozette your so smart. The challenge was everyone’s cages are different heights :cautious:everyone is now inside and controlling the heat in the house has been fun 5FB74830-114A-4133-9ABB-BC092318E849.jpeg
