Isis isn't pink

As for the OP question. Im gonna go against the grain and say it is still female.:D I had a female tht I bought as a male tht looked EXACTLY like yours until she was about 10-11 months old then she turned orange/pink. Before then she was gray with lots of blues and greens like a male.

Color isn't always a good indicator, as you mentioned, but the swollen tail base that can be seen in the photos is fairly reliable, especially when coloration agrees with it.

Edit: So he is either a runt or he was not fed properly before I recieved him?

I'm still sticking with stressed.
How or why I don't know.
No one else is touching this point but from what I've witnessed (and sadly done mistakenly) it just completely fits for me.

How can it be 4 months if I've had him for just as long?

It is possible you received one that was born AFTER the date stated on the breeders box. Perhaps a mix-up between one cluthch and a related second clutch.

Or it could be slow to grow. They dont all grow at the same rate :)

Doesnt really matter. Just feed him two to six times a day, in small portions. Use high protein smaller crickets, use butterworms, use gutloaded supers and silkworms, etc. monitor temps. Check for parasites. You know the drill.

I'm starting to think he was alot younger when I recieved him. I got a scale today and he is 15 or 16 grams. I offered food twice today (I re-dusted the bugs with calcium just in case, and I thought that maybe the new jumpy crickets would get his attention but they didn't.) and he didn't really seem interested in it. He ate a superworm and a cricket.

I'd would do a fecal test, and have a look at his mouth. A chameleon with mouth issues will stop eating if havin mouth troubles.

I'll check tomorrow morning, they're settling in for bed right now. My mom wanted to take them in for a vet check up soon anywho. She wants to see if the vet can tell the gender because she's a little confused about this whole thing :) I need to take my guinea pigs in too so hopefully the vet sees piggies...

Pssh, doesn't feel good getting bashed on for asking questions does it?

I hope your panther turns out to be ok though.

This is my Ambilobe at 3-4 months.... His name is Steve.

15g doesn't seem all that off.

These pics were taken on 7-20-2008. I believe he was hatched at the end of march? Right Steve?

Okay, well that almost exactly the size the my male is, so maybe he is younger than I thought and a little small?

Sorry to anyone if I sounded rude yesterday. I was still pretty upset about loosing my tarantula Harry.

Well, I checked his mouth this morning. No sores, cuts, or any off colored parts it looks pretty normal to me. He's so mellow it took me forever to get him to open upWithout being forceful, he did puff up his throat at me for the first time though.

Pan is a whopping 90 grams at two days to seven months old.
