They're full of it, I've owned many different lizards and always kept live food in. Never had a single issue and I dump 100 cricks in at a time for my Chams.NO, chameleons do no have friends and will eventually eat or try to eat anything the size of the space between their eyes or smaller actually sometimes even bigger but not bigger than their head anything bigger than their head in general makes them nervous and they don't like it in their territory. Some Feeders can be a problem if left in a viv especially over night when the cham goes to sleep and the left over would be feeder gets to your sleeping Chameleon and eats your Chameleons eyes (aparently they go for the eyes for the moisture) this may be just an Chameleon urban legend told to 1st time keepers by Experience Breeders having a go at you but.. why risk your poor chams eyes... I still don't know if they are messing with me.
Lucky for the last 15 years? Id say it's safe. You've been lucky so far it does happen and will eventually.
Nope, throw 100 in every week or so, feeding dubias and supers in between also.Did the 100 crickets all been eaten by the end of night before the lights goes off??
Not false, I've seen cricket bite injuries from it.False, been doing it for years with many different species of all different ages and sizes.
Either ur cham has a tough skin like a leather boots or ur cricket must be 100small pinhead new born,I wouldnt dump all those crickets if I were uNope, throw 100 in every week or so, feeding dubias and supers in between also.
Think about it, no gut load, dust is gone; you are leaving your chameleon to eat basically an empty shell.
