I went into my gecko room just now to check on everyone and this is what I find! There is blood splattered, like out of a scene from Dexter, all across one of the bins. This happens to be the bin where I currently have a male and female leopard gecko so that they may breed, so I immediately open it up and remove all the caves imagining that they've done damage to one another.
I checked both geckos, and they are both in perfect condition! Not a single scratch, bruise, nip, or cut anywhere. All fingers and toes counted for. I don't know what to make of it? And they've been a great couple so far, none of the really aggressive biting that I've seen my other pairings do.
My roommate made a comment about it being the female's first time, but this seems ridiculous!
I'm alarmed, but the geckos are absolutely fine as far as I can tell.
