My mum and I and my mum's staff (approx. 20 lovely ladies) are all sending thoughts and prayers for Ryan, Amanda and his family. We are all hoping for some good news soon xxx

I really hope Ryan wakes and is able to pull threw. its scary how fast things in your life can be turned up side down I have almost lost my daughter before I understand what you guys are going threw. I'm sure Amanda is sooo glad to have her boy home with her and I'm sure that having a nurse there with her for a whole will be loads of help!
Is he still breathing on his own completely, no ventilator needed? Asking does he still have the trach or did they reverse it?
I'm still praying that Ryan will come around, you never know what familiar smells and sounds might trigger in his mind..

Update on Amanda and Ryan
I just wanted to thank everyone for their contiuned support and prayers. Amanda is now in the hospital with kidney stones. Ryan is still sleeping but a couple of weeks ago he started moving his head from side to side and does this a couple od times each day. Amanda takes this as a good sign.

omg the poor thing. I have had kidney stones and the pain I went through was nothing short of giving child birth. That is the best way I can describe it. When it rains it pours it seems. On another note, still praying for the little guy to wake up and maybe that is a positive sign that he moved his head like that. I guess you cannot ever give up hope..

So nice to hear a possible positive sign about Ryan. I'm sure having him at home has been an emotional roller coaster for the family. I have never had a kidney stone and I NEVER want one! Ugh! Like Carol stated, I have always heard them compared to childbirth. That really stinks for Amanda. Continuing all positive thoughts for both of them. Thanks for the update, Jann.
