My Petsitter and her son need your thoughts and prayers

praying for Ryan and his doctors today Jann!!!!! how did the surgery go?

The surgery went well. Hopefully his little body will not reject any thing and stay free from injections. There's a rally tonight (fundraiser) at a restaurant/bar south of here to raise money for Ryan and the family. Thank you for all of your prayers Lisa.

So sorry to hear the latest developments with Ryan but miracles do happen, especially at this time of the year! I am hoping and praying that this is the time for a huge miracle that heals Ryan back to the little man he was before the accident!

This is just so sad. What a horrible thing for this family to have to go through. I will definately keep them in my prayers.

I am so glad that so many people here have Ryan and his mom in their prayers, prayers do come true if God wishes for them to.....I don't believe he wants this little boy not to make it, and with all these prayers, there is a lot of power and faith, we just have to keep the faith and pray some more.

Jan im sorry to here it must be so hard for the poor little guy my thought and prayrs are with him so sad to here he is way to young for this i hope he gets better.... cant get him out of my mind i told my hole family and they areals praying....

Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers. They are greatly appreciated. I am going to the hospital today and I will tell Amanda that everyone here is still pulling for Ryan to wake up.

Jann, is there a website where people can donate?

I'm not sure if Brad will allow this. I might be breaking the site rules. Amanda does not have insurance and I can only imagine the cost of the hospital, doctors and treatment.

Here's Ryan's website: http://www.ryanweeksdonate.com/

I just cannot stop thinking about Ryan and his Mommy and family and loved ones. It just breaks my heart. Miracles happen and he has a lot of people praying for him and sending positive thoughts his way.

Update

Thank you all so much. Ryan is still in a coma. His feeding tube in his belly it clogged at the moment but a call has been put in to the surgen. He has been breathing on his own since yesterday at 1:00 pm. They still have the machine hooked up to him but they are not giving him any artificial breaths. They are preparing Amanda to take care of him and if all goes well he will be home in a week or two. Since they don't have insurance I'm sure the hospital will send him home as soon as possible.

I'm still praying for a miracle too!

So am I Jann!!!!
What the heckl is the mother of a beautiful 2.5 year old to do?!?!?!?!
I still say "never, ever give up" as long as there is a chance.... With Ryan,,it's just too early, just yet!!! Amanda just has to be strong, stronger than she ever thought that she could be.....
I'm still saying prayers!!!!!!

I think getting him out of the hospital is the best thing they can do. I understand that it's going to be hard on the family, but hospitals are not a path to wellness....so, Ryan going home will be a good thing.

He's breathing on his own. There's hope.
