My Veiled named Frank

These are the first pictures of Frank I've posted here-I think hes about 6 months and I weighed him last sunday at 116g. Everything seems to be good? Shy eater but he must be eating.

Frank is developing quite nicely. His colors should start to come out soon....the baring is very nice. It also looks lik he has a good sized casque.

I weighed Frank again today- He weighed in at 4.5 ounces/127 grams... is this a good weight gain for a couple weeks?

Got a little update- Franks been good, seems a little wobbly? Also hes been shedding what seems like constantly for a month or more. Seems much bigger to me overall, and weighs right at 190 grams. Took some pictures today, and hes in a new cage now- the big apogee I think its 30 x 30 x 72?

The first two pictures are todays- the others are a little older.

What kind of a UVB light are you using? Do you change the bulbs every 6 months? What all are you using to supplement with? Which calcium dust?

Its a reptisun 10.0, and it needs changed at the end of this month. I got it in january. I use jurassical without d3 lightly everyday and then multivitamins once a week and calcium with d3 the next week, so they alternate.

That sounds good......when you said he was wobbly just wanted to make sure no MBD there. BTW He's a good looking veiled!!!!

You know I was kinda worried about it being MBD too...but as far as I can tell his legs look good and his casque got a little crooked and hasnt straightened out but its not soft or rubbery...the wobbliness comes and goes. His grip is still strong? I had him out on my hand today and if he feels like hes about to fall off or anything he can squeeze hard enough to nearly puncture skin?

Also I've never really seen him fire up...any ideas on how to get him to? I would think hes old enough by now.

He's beautiful just as is! I wouldn't worry about trying to get him to "fire-up".

Ok I just didnt know if maybe he should have by now or if its healthy for him to not have... maybe it means he has a low stress life? haha
