"Natural" Forest Floor Terrarium "Testing" Build!

Did you see that I have another new Forest Floor kit model? This one goes with the 12" X 12" Exo Terras.
I started to set one of these up. I was going to use one or two R. brevicaudatus in it, but I changed my mind and now I am trying to figure out some other kind of livestock.

Well i just spent about an hour making small final changes. Now all thats left is for the plants to all grow in.
Some pix with more bamboo.
Quick video of a rough mock up of the mister. I didn't want water to fill into the holes i made in the bamboo. So i was testing positions before mounting the nozzle.

Thank Rob. A Lott of work and reading went into this. But honestly knowing what I know now, I can duplicate all this in one day with all the materials handy (which from the looks of things I'll be setting up about 2 more enclosures. One more for the house for any hatchlings to grow out in and another for my job for a pair of P.grandis. This whole thing started out as a office project, but after locating these gems I could not house them at my job. The weekends would be unmonitored, and I wanna make sure all is well with them.Looks fantastic Jon!! Great job and those plants are going to fill in great for you. Can't wait to see you little smurfs in the enclosure
I'm getting dressed to go pick them up now. Lmaoo , I wish I could prorate!! On the lease it states "max capacity :4 ". It's my 2 kids , my wife and I. We you be in breach of lease if we had another kid!! Lol . They would flip is they saw my non-human collection!!When do the critters move in?? Can't you prorate the lease?

Well I have been at the FedEx location to pick them up since 8:40am (it's now 9:40am). The usual FedEx drama! Truck was late coming in from Newark NJ to NYC! But at least it's here, they are unpacking the truck now! Smh!

lol yeah I expect he has plenty to spare!
If anyone needs it I don't mind harvesting it for people. They pay for the packaging/shipping and np!

Had a slight delay with FedEx . They open at 8:30am, i got there at 8:40am!!
The guy there is cool and goes above and beyond. He likes when i open my shipments there, lol
Well the truck came in at 9:30am and took an hour to unpack. I got them at 10:30am'ish! There was this veryyy attractive young woman there waiting for a box also. I opened my Gecko package from Laurie and they were all in a mesh sack. The woman yelled out "they are alive?!?!". I said "yes, wanna see?". She wanted to , but was cautious!! 5 minutes later and she was IN LOVEEE WITH THEM!! LOL
Well i packaged the box back up and was getting ready to leave. The FedEx guy came out with the woman's box (a huge box)..
She asked if they had a handtruck or cart she can borrow, they said no and she had this face on!! I asked her where she was going and she said 2 blocks away ( in the direction i was heading). I said " here is the deal, you hold my box with the Geckos and I'll carry your box. Deal!!?!!?"..
DEAL!! And we were off!!
Come to find out she is one of the designers at the NY Kenneth Cole office! I dropped off her box and she asked "what size shoe do you wear?.. wait here, I'll be righttt back!!"
She came back with these!! SCOREEE!! Funny thing is , i almost bought some KC boots similiar to these a week ago but didn't because they didn't have my size! Karma at it's best!!
And this is the best pic i can get of the little guys rite now! They are FASTTTT!!

Awesome!! Glad they arrived safe and great story! Nice boots but I could have done with 6 pictures of the geckos and one of the boots

With the hold up at FedEx, i didn't have time to run home and place them into the ExoTerra. I had a 11am meeting with a client and had to skoot to work. So they are here with me, i'll either run home with them on my lunch or leave early (around 3pm) and i'll have a poop-ton of pix then!
