So I accidently ordered 250 pinhead crickets online and recieved them yesterday.... and realized how smart I am
Anywho..... Anyone know approximately how long it will take for these LITTLE guys to grow big enough to feed to my 4 month panther ? I guess they would need to be about 1/8" ?

Thanks again everyone for your vast knowledge =]

Where did you order them from? I desperately need some for my pygmies and can't find any in the city. I need them sooner rater than later. Thanks!

You'll be waiting about 3 weeks, give or take - feed lots and keep warm for fastest results. Full size is around 6/7 weeks.

canadianfeeders.ca usually has them

Also it doesnt take long to "make" your own from a handful of adult females and a shallow dish of damp sand.

Hey Kelso,

In about 3 weeks they should be around the size you want. Feed them well and use water pellets to prevent drownings.

Thanks. That's the first I've heard of this place. I'll give them a try.

I checked them out but I have to order 250 of them! If only they would stay so little I'd have no problem. Two pygmies aren't going to eat too much.

I don't think I'm capable of making my own. My fruit fly cultures are already on the verge of crashing. I'm better at taking care of the animals than I am the bugs (and plants).

Lmao. Can o' crickets-Zoomed?
Isnt Trace live up somewhere there? She apparently has knowledge on all types of chams and I believe keeps a bunch of em. Im pretty sure she's like your FL chams down there?

Oh, there are quite a few varieties of chams up here; I'm just being mopey about my carpet that hasn't come yet.(
