Preparing for my first chameleon, tips appreciated

She's hanging out under the drips like showering, but got camera shy

Such a good baby... she still looks so ribby (I mean I know it's only been like what two days?) but I was originally wondering if it was her like flattening or something. How much are you feeding a day again? 8 feeders right? What size are the roaches?

Nymph roaches, and I just filled up her feeder cup with a bunch and have been letting her eat all she wants. There's still like maybe 8 left in there. She for sure ate two pinhead crickets that I found (loose from my last batch, not from outside) and a few roaches today. Her appetite has been very good, and she seems to be figuring out drinking today

You could add a few wax worm to her diet . They have a good fat content and nutritionally there balanced .

Don't do it more than once a week and only do it after she eats her roaches. Otherwise a lot chameleons apparently get addicted.

I have some small supers on the way. Will be shopping around for some more feeders.

She's been running her eyes on a branch for a couple minutes now. Poor thing

Supers, wax, horn, all on the way.
That in combination of dubia and crickets should be a good variety to fatten her up
Absolutely and silkies are a wonderful feeder . You don't need to dust silkies . Hornworms grew very very fast . Will your beardies eat them . I can't remember if it was you or another member whom said no . I'm sorry if you are repeating your self im not as young as you lol .

It's OK lol. My little beardie will probably eat them. My oldest doesn't like them and the Pacman frog didn't like them, but I'm willing to try them again

I was 99% sure it had been you whom said no go with hornworms . There's hope for me I guess lol . My Septiceye is still on a hornworm protest . The little girl loves them . My beardies love then and Jake the Leopard gecko throws them in the air .
