Preparing for my first chameleon, tips appreciated

If Septiceye is really as sweet as he sounds, his teenage years honestly likely won't be as bad as most chams. A lot of the super sweet chams go through puberty just like every other cham does but it's rather mellow mood swings.
He is so so sweet he has more of a beardie personality . I tell Matt all the time . Frances has had so many health issues she see people and is like get away .

That's how Ryker used to be (kind of is now but it's hard to tell since he can't see well right now and so I don't take him out to see people a lot) he has gone to petco a couple times with me and he just loved cruising to other people's shoulders all the time. People were amazed especially the employees since they were used to the nervous babies. But I have dealt with their babies before and I have been able to reach in right away and just gently coax them onto my finger and they don't show any aggression or fear compared how they supposedly usually do with employees. If I am around and they have someone interested in them the employees will ask me to take them out XD because I show case them well.

That's Septiceye he will just cruse from person to person or just hang out . He usually is waiting to come out of his enclosure in Am . If he's basking or patrolling we will just put our hand in and he will hop right on . Frances we let her come out on her own . We just put her tree to her enclosure once she's out she's fine for a ride . She's very cage aggressive and no one is ever allowed to go near her queen perch EVER lol . That Earns a bite . We know that so we just don't do it . They all go out often she has her Hibiscus she will hange out in . We live in this tiny town that every tourist has to come to , I believe I have mentioned that . Our street is crazy busy . People can't believe it when they see the chameleons or beardies so they have to come see . She keeps her calm colors no puffing but will look at them like leave me alone lol .

lmao if only people knew about my house XD I could start charging commission
Oh I bet !!. If you lived on this street you really could . We have a lot of oriental , Canadians , Germans , New Yorkers and Connecticut . They take pics and all . You could absolutely do reptile tours ;).

Well I arrived home to a pretty alarming sight.
She looked fine but I noticed right away there was an undigested waxworm peeking out of her rear. It was dead but fully intact. I took her out, grasped the worm gently in a napkin and began to pull very slowly. She sat still and just watched me. I was able to pull out the entire worm in addition to a large urate.
I immediately ran a shallow bath, prepared with sugar next to me in case, and had her sit on my finger with her lower half submerged. No prolapse and she seemed to actually like the soak. She just sat and made eye contact with me the whole time.

I took her out, patted her dry, confirmed her bum looked OK, and placed her to bask.

Yikes.

I did find another large poop in the enclosure, making that two large poops just today, urates are very white on the plus, but I take it she was a tad backed up and maybe had a few too many Waxworms and didn't chew properly.

I hat are her basking temps and what time is she eating ?

I agree with this. But definitely be careful with worms, certain ones if they don't chew them just enough to pierce it can be hard to digest. In my opinion I wouldn't worry it's parasites quite yet since she's digesting find otherwise and is obviously gaining weight.

I believe the fecal was negative for parasites as well .

She just had a fecal done on Tuesday and it was clear, so I'm not concerned about parasites, just she really went into those worms and I think she got a little greedy
Agreed . Just watch her poo over the next few day . Make sure she digesting . Usually it's meal worms one see's not digested . Wax worms usually are not an issue . Maybe too many with a hi fat content .

I'll definitely keep an eye out. The worm followed two large, normal poos, so I'm hoping this was an isolated incident.

She doesn't look too interested in the supers but I don't blame her right now after that ordeal

None of my babie will eat super worms out of their cup . Frances I have too hold it when it gets crazy spinning that's when she eats it . Even if I put them on her screen she won't take it . She's picky about how she eats super worms lol . So give that a try .

I definitely will. Those worms really flail
Yes they do . I used to think they would bite my fingers off lol . Then one day I was feeding the babies . I put the cup up on Frances enclosure and it fell own right down my shirt  . I know at that point I was immune to super worms I just kept going because the beardies were waiting lol .

So we finally had a nice sunny day and I took all the lizards out.
I..... think she had fun?

She did not care about that fake plant, she wanted the tent. Her eyes seem to be bothering her a lot today, she was rubbing them a few times today on a number of things. She absolutely hated my phone outside, so I didn't get too many pictures where she was clearly having a good time.

I let her play in a low hanging branch of a giant tree and then I could tell she was having fun, unfortunately I could easily lose her, so I had to keep reseting her to the bottom of the branch
