Rostral process development?

It looks like his Rostral process has begun. I don't think I've ever seen a female this age with a nose like that. What do you think? I'm beginning to think I have a lightly colored male. He just shed Saturday and his reds got a lot darker

I've seen a couple of my females develop like that. The tail check is really the only sure fire way to do it.

Maybe it just looks bigger to me in person? I've never owned a female before so I can't attest to firsthand knowledge but all the pictures I see of females look so much more rounded at the tip of the Rostral process

Ya my female looks just like yours. Very cute tho.

I know all chams arnt the same . My female looks very.similar to yours tho

Have a look at my thread in identification section called Identification of Kinyongia species. Cannot post link as posting this from my phone. It is a clear example that there are some females with more developed rostrals than others..

Seeing that even Chris Anderson thought it was make just let's you know that no one can really be able to tell 100% until it is old enoug, and then you just figure it out on your own like with you female laying eggs
