I'm so sorry that happened to you. I hope you are able to get it resolved and at the very least get a refund.
 
Ok so the base is smashed. The 2 sliding doors are smashed plus the glass panel along the back is smashed.
The front panel and 2 side panels are intact.
Relastically i guess just the doors need to be glass.
I would need to find some kind of plastic for the base and back panel.
Reading up on these cages they would generally arrive flat packed so all being well that we can get it apart it may not be soo bad.
Will be onto the insurance company this am after emailing the form an pics back to them last night.

Been on the phone to lots of ppl already this morning. Parcel monkey have emailed to say claim in process. Whatever that means. Ill update later when i know more. X

Nothing needs to be glass. Check out all the sponsors vertical cages. They are all screen except for the bottom, which is a poly/plastic.
 
It goes from bad to worse. All panels broken now. As glass was stuck fast an wouldnt come out.
I know i could do screen but not really sure how i would fix it on. And then when misting would it not all leak out all over the place?
 
Worse today than it was yesterday lol

Keep tabs on the shipping company and learn what their policy is in how long they can take for claims. Unfortunately some of my freighters I work with have a 120 day claim policy, and they always take the full amount of time allowed. More reputable companies have a 30 day policy. Either way their job is to protect their money, so keep tabs, and dont take no for an answer.

Im sorry you have to go through all this, it looked like it would have been a nice cage for your cham.
 
Had a reply today and theyre takin no responsibilty as its in the small print. They dont insure for glass.
Looks like its a live an learn thing!
