That’s really cool I bet if you put a plant in it it won’t go anywhere. how much was it, I have a good idea for it?And it’s almost as big as his cage! Lol! With the fine white netting do you think much uvb will get through when I take hm outside?
Ty!Ive been using one for about 3 months now with no issues in Los Angeles. Potted plants keep it from moving. Check amazon, there are some with what looks like pvc frames if you're looking for structural support
I work at a veterans home and the little old ladies there love looking at pictures of my roaches . Maybe they wouldn’t want to live with them lol!No, I dont have room to breed insects and I think I’d get evicted ! Lol! I live in a senior apartment complex. If the little old ladies only knew that I had dubia roaches in here they’d pee their pants!
A brick or rock in the bottom will hold it down. The mesh isn't going to block enough UVB from the SUN to worry about. When Eustis has had enough, he'll probably head/look for shade.I’ll sit and hold onto the thing if I have to but it’s not super windy here and I wouldn’t take him out in it on a windy day anyway. It will be fine, I’m just concerned about the UV getting through the fine mesh of it.
The trick is to get some dowels to help keep the top stretched tight. This will allow the most UVB to get trough. once they have stuff in them they won't blow away, but they will flatten out if it gets real strong.
That would work. What about an internal 1/2" PVC frame?
