SOOOO Excited! Getting first Panther this weekend!

Lets please keep this thread going throughout remy's life lol!! he is so adorable!! im so excited im getting my first panther in a few weeks!! i need your guy's help! im gonna find some pics of some chameleons i really like and can you guys help me decide which one's babies to get lol!!

fyi these are just random pics i pulled but if you know of any breeders similar too these that have chams for sale around 200 that would be awesome haha!!

Both of those pics are the same Cham. I do not know of a breeder that has something like that available, but there are many on the forums that amazing animals. One of my favorite chams is Candy Cane Jr from Chameleon paradise. I would love to have a male from him one day!

Thanks Dayna, I am sure it will be fun for you to do all of his vet care as he grows up as well! He is such an awesome chameleon, and by FAR the most friendly.
 
Staying true to his parents' personalities then! Excellent. Recently his mom Loretta has a burst of over friendliness. She's a doll. Hopefully Remy will need very minimal vet care in his life. :)
 
Remy has been a little unhappy for the last week, showing a lot of dark colors, and not eating much. After doing a little investigating, It looks like his basking temps were too low, so I upgraded to a higher wattage bulb 2 days ago, and what a difference! Yesterday he ate about a dozen dibia and today another dozen (including 2 that I was worried would be slightly too large). I still don't understand where they go... :eek: A dozen dubia that size seem too big to fit in his belly.

Wow, what an amazing change in that little guy over the last several months!!!! He looks great!!!!! Thanks for the updates!!!!
 
Just another update on Remy. He is now just over 6 months old and doing GREAT!! He is growing like a weed and his colors get better by the day. He is still a vey sweet boy and has never shown ANY aggression toward me. I also moved him into his big boy cage a couple of weeks ago. He really seems to enjoy his new home. Here are a couple of pics taken a few minutes ago.

Yet another update on Remy. He is such a great little guy, and growing like a WEED! He just had another shed yesterday and looks fantastic. He has quickly become my favorite chameleon (of course it doesn't hurt that he is my only friendly chameleon).
