    Bees

I was wondering if anyone has witnessed their Cham take a bee? I wouldn't deliberately feed bees but there's loads in my garden and am worried if I let him out in the good weather what would happen if he ate a bee when He's outside?

Crickets are not moving high enough to be eaten.....

Maybe it's your hand she is afraid of. I leave the cup in the line of sight of mine and temptation normally wins the day. U should try to vary the diet a bit with some silkworms, locusts etc. waxworms while not being very healthy can be good to break a hunger strike and should be fed very...

    Breeding..???

Silkworms are good fun and quite easy to rear. I got my breeding kit from rickslivefood.co.uk for under £20. I keep mine in the cupboard where my boiler is which gives me temps between 20 and 28 degrees. :)

    Green banana roaches

I bought my silkworm breeding kit from ricks. They came the next day and almost every egg hatched. So I would definitely recommend the site. :)

    Lighting T5 6% or 12%

Hi. I'm in the process off making a larger viv for my young veiled (my first). The dimensions are 32"Wx32"Hx16"D. With the base it stands over 6ft high. So I'm trying to decide the best lighting to go for. I like the look of the Arcadia T5 bulbs but I'm not sure whether to go for the 6% or the...

    Newbie needs advice

Thanks David and Carol. I'm loving having a chameleon. It's like a having new addition to the family. :) The water bowl is only for decoration and I thought it might help a little with the humidity. I mist the viv at least 4 times a day or if I see the humidity dropping below 50%. I also have...

    Newbie needs advice

Hi. I'm completely new to the hobby and have been a bit baffled with the amount of conflicting advice I have read on various sites. I purchased a 6-8 week old Veiled Cham (male) last week with a full set-up from my local pet store. I would like to confirm what I was sold is suitable and...
