Hi all, i will be very happy if the people that reply don't tell me go to a vet because there is no reptile specialist veterinarian in my town... i already went to some vet and they told me that don't know anything about reptiles...

i am here to ask you what is the dose for calyptratus babys 1 week old, they have a respiratory infection... since the day they clutched they look sick, they haven't eaten, they drink and i don't know what else to do, i think the only way to help them is to try in one of them a nebulization with baytril and if it goes better try it in others...

their eyes are closed, when some of them breath it sounds like something cracking...

i know you are not veterinarians but something that helped you may help me

cut down on spraying straight away,4 times a day is to much for such tiny babies and this is probably what has caused the u.r.i., unfortunatly there will be no dose small enough to use on babies of this size, the only thing you can do is elevate the temps and cut back on spraying, what are you offering for food,at this stage they will be needing fruit fly to get them going.hope they improve.

the problem was that i put them in an aquarium and i put a heater that drop the humidity and then i put a humidifier and there weren't enough oxygen inside, i did everything wrong but i already fix all the wrong things i was doing, i hope they survive all the mistakes i did...

i am not going to give baytril anymore, they are still alive and moving, but keep the eyes closed...

i will never use an aquarium again...

thread closed thanks for reading and replying
