Curious Gardener: What did I find?

Okay...and I fully understand that another poster brought in the whole "invasive species" thing, but the original poster didn't have that in mind and color me stupid, but I think we should try to respect the original poster as much as possible.

So, why take it up a notch? Why not just focus on the current issue and why it's a good idea to let a board member take that animal?

I think you have the makings of a good discussion (and, hey, Chris Anderson seems on board to participate, that's a huge gift) so start that thread and get that discussion going.

But this little baby? It really deserves to be put in the hands of someone who will care for it and raise it to a big beautiful animal. I sort of look forward to watching that happen.

I agree and wish I found that guy as well cause plenty more will be coming soon, so keep your eye out.

You stated our gov't may be right and the only people who look to gov't for answers and solutions are socialists. Not meaning you specifically being you live in a monarchy but we don't believe gov't does anything right here in America.

Actually, Canada is not a Monarchy, we have a parliamentary democracy
(And the USA is a Republic)
Not that it has anything to do with anything in this thread and more than the benefits of socialism.

I do hope the original poster found a good home for the cute little chameleon, rather than releasing it to either die or add to the invasive problem.

That is totally hilarious, then why did the queen dismiss parliament 3 times in 3 years. Read the thumbnail subject. We kicked her ass out over 200 years ago.

perhaps you should educate yourself on what Monarchy means, and what a Parliamentary Democracy is, and for that matter what Socialist means and what Republic means. When you're done with that, if you can manage it, try learning what invasive means.

I will no longer be responding to trolls on this thread

Is it time to start debating global warming yet? :)

No no I think we should further stool this thread with a good heated religion debate! :)

Seriously guys. The OP probably won't come back thinking were all a bunch of crazies! I hope I'm wrong I hope the OP finds out a simple question isn't always a heated debate on a irrelevant topic... Once back and forth starts open a thread in the lounge for Christ sakes so people like me don't have to file through the dribble to see if there's an update on this little guy..

Take note ur two cents is always welcomed here but the question is wat did I find not should I keep it or not.. u can say weither it should be released or not but realize when its out of hand and move it elsewhere!

Okay I thought the invasive species discussion was pertinent to this thread as this is a prime example.

There are perfectly good forum web sites for debating politics but this isn't one of them unless we are debating Chameleon politics and the last time I checked there isn't a single Chameleon holding a political office anywhere on earth (please correct me if I missed that particular bit of news). Feel free to PM me and I can recommend some good forum sites to debate politics, global warming, and whatever else you want.

I am not trying to debate politics, just responding to posts. The invasive talk I feel was pertinent as well and just wanted to point out that more fear of this minute chance of our pets becoming invasive being put out there everywhere will just lead to federal regulation or banning outright. It's already happening now and just basically you shouldn't release pets due to the best interest of the animal itself and not based on a fear of creating an ecological disaster of epic proportions.
