hi, i have a year old veiled who had RI before but has recovered from it. he sheds almost frequently but does eat and drink water regularly.my problem is that recently i noticed he sometimes misses his target/food. what he does is stalk closely to the prey about 1-2inches from his mouth and he grabs it by his tongue but he doesn't shoot his tongue in a fast way like he does before. what could be the problem? it seems he can't extend his tongue longer than 2inches. if he's 3inches away from the prey he usually mosses because his tongue can't extend further 
im worried, what could be his problem?
i give 12 crickets/superworms a day alternately every week. his cage is a alluminum and screen 20x20x40 with a regular fluorescent and a reptisun 10.0 on top. i mist three times a day and i give reptical for his supplements.
