Your baby has grown so much. How old is she/he now?

She/he is 9 months old now. Has really started growing a lot the past couple of months. She already needs the poles in her free range adjusted! I'm so proud of her. She's come a long way (I say 'she' cuz I need a pronoun!).

Just another reason you should come out to the Vegas show! (or you could just come to SoCal with a big purse and hope we don't notice anyone missing!!)

Maybe if you see what they are like in groups you would not want another ... crazy bunch of savages!!

Alex - I remember the first time I saw a photo of one of these on the forum - all puffed up, black mouth open...I thought, "Why on earth would someone want one of those weird looking chams?" lol. Of course, after learning how hard they are to get and to keep - I became obsessed until I had one of my own! This one has been more work than a panther for sure - but worth it. I'm very glad I had experience before getting her.

I will have to make a video - they walk all over each other, try to grab food out of each others mouths, walk right up to us looking for handouts as soon as we sit down ... they are savages but they are certainly a lot of fun!

Had an unexpected vet trip tonight - Baby got a burn on one of her lights somehow - my mistake. :-(. Baby is fine - and Baby has a hemi the vet said! She poked around and found it (eww). So now I've got to get used to saying "he" - and finding a more suitable name!

P.S. - Baby weighs 179 grams!! Boy, was I way off!!

Awesome melleri. When they get excited it is the most impressive display ever.

Tonight I moved the misting nozzle about an inch - he was struttin' and scissoring like crazy. I tried to seem intimidated....but could only laugh. So cute!
