Hey I just wanted to see what you guys think about the mini free range set up ive made for my baby veiled chameleon named Kafka :D. It's pretty much the same set up he used to have in his cage. Same plant, same branches, same lighting. I'm planning on adding more plants at different heights as my baby cham grows!

he's so tiny! reminds me of Jack climbing the magical beanstalk, LOL.
i think it looks pretty good :) are u putting him into his cage at night?

No, I'm actually planning to have him free ranging all the time. He gets really stressed every time i open his cage because it opens from above (DIY design). Also I think is better to free range animals. No one likes to be enclosed!!

i have free ranged ALL of my chams from day one..they did great..yes they will explore every so often..what i can reccomend is using some plastic walls twice the length of the cham t create a "no pass" barrier along the bottom sides of the small table you are using..eventually your cham will never leave its free range..gixxer and marcella have been free ranging since i got them (at approx. 2 months old)..they are still loving it.

My only concern would be humidity, water, and heat. I'm building him a free range on my ceiling so he stays high up and maybe leaving the cage door open so he goes back in there for food or warmth
