Need Help ASAP!!!

I am a new owner of a male Jackson Chameleon his name is coco! When I first got him he was all green now he had black spots and he keep breaking his nails. Is that normal and how can I know what are his moods. I am really worry about him. Do I have to take him to a vet?

He may just be stressed being in his new home.give him as much privacy as you can and plenty of patience. Kath.

You should start worrying when he turns brown.

That darkish splotchy green is nothing to worry about. it just means he is stressed a bit. just leave him alone for a few days except for water and feeding, he will get used to his new home.

nails: try adding a plant, more vines, to prevent him from climbing screen. that is why his nails break.

they mostly do not grow back
