same as i feel about it, plus even though they hardly feed or water them at pet stores..they still usually throw in a lil gutload since they carry that stuff...

ve never forced any of my chams to be held, they choose to come to me by pure want..i never held them untill they wanted to come to me..i did use some trick to gain trust tho
1. try offering water by a small eye dropper..be slow and paitient
2. offer food by hand, also if they do take by...
ive used vasoline on the underside of tables, coated around the legs..its unpassable for them, and use the ant bait traps, they can only reach the traps and take the poison back home instead of your great gut load..

i used to do this with all of my cages (also helps to keep misting systems from spraying out of the walls..i never usually had a problem with reflection
16 days or so is when mine pop out..keep the soil or egg medium wet (not soggy, but wet) and you will see the flea-crickets soon (they literally look like fleas jumping around)..:D
i have my lights set up to mimic outside..(also they bask in the screen window for most of the day) however, on cooler days ive noticed they are not as active, and on hotter days tend to travel around a lil more..
this is what i use, anything smaller and its hard to get them to lay (they may dig but like it deep)..

and yes, i use a fish tank heater in my mist king, i turned it on just a few clicks away from full heat..that way its not shockingly cold water when the mist turns on.:)
my chams all hated me when i first got them as babies..after a looong time of hand feeding, hand watering, and a lil outside time, my chams grew to love me, and will come visit when they feel the need (all the time now)..

wow, close one..that means they were definatley looking at the cham as food, but were afraid of you beeing to close to the item they wanted to hunt..i have hawks here, they will literally sit on the tele-poles outside my window staring into the room to look at my chams..my chams know they are no...
it worked for now..but she will ALWAYS remember..they always do...when you act like an ass again she will bring it up and make you feel like a double ass, lol they are masters of memory..
