I am sure you are doing the best you can within your financial means.

I'm sorry to say, he looks somewhat worse now. :( His fat pads seem to have shrunk considerably and his eyes being closed is worrying. Ensure he is getting as much water into him as possible, when/if you are having to give him the medication anyways. But Avoid all stress factors as much as possible. If the shower appears to cause distress, dont do it. How is his breathing? Keep him warm without being hot (his colour in the photos suggest to me that he is not cold so that's good)

I thought he looked worse today too =(
He didnt wiggle the whole time in the shower just look sqwromy a few times maybe tring to adjust himself, but then would just lay there. I saw him swallowing a lot in the shower, more then I have seen in a few days.

I have him placed basically in the middle of the cage between the warm and cool. he is always warm when i do pick him up.

he has looked to be snoozing since his shower. just kinda lying on his belly with his head resting on its side-should that be alarming? his eyes closed are concerning me too =( and they are now shutting as opposed to the rolling them back and being white, not sure if thats good or bad.

Breathing seems ok, he takes long regular breaths, if that makes sense. Not short bursts or anything like that. He is still taking big breaths though his mouth every once in a while.

He has now not eaten anything in 3-4 days, everyone keeps saying not to worry so much about that right now that he can go a while with no food, however he looks so weak and thin to me. When the vet whieghed him he was 65-68g.

Not eating for a few days is not the issue to fixate on. Besides which, he is eating - you've been forcing food into him, right? The boost, whatever that is, and the carnivore care, and maybe also bug juice?

When you say he swallowed alot in the shower, do you mean he was drinking?

He has not eaten, everyone was saying not to force just to offer, since he can go awhile without eating. So I have been just dabing his nose with it but he is not lapping it up. Should I still be tring to force feed?

In the shower yes it looks to me he is drinking but his tounge doesnt come out, i think he is just swallowing the water that gets in his mouth.

I have only seen him use his tounge very few timmes when giving his baytril and liq cal tghis week.

Today is also the last day he is suposed to be on the baytril for the RI. However he is still taking big breaths from his mouth, and his mouth still has a few strings of saliva when he opens it? My vet is suposed to call me today, so Ill see what she says?

Sometimes the usual number of days of medicine isn't enough. Other times, they need a change of medication.
Calling the vet if she forgets to call you would be good.

the vet said nothing about continuing the baytril, i do still have some, should i try onemore day?

Also he had poo today. Messy! most of it looked like the boost pasty and tan, a goober of slimey stuff and something that looked much like something that would come out on the last day of "a woman monthly friend)-sorry i know thats gross but thats the best discribtion I can give. It was the size of my pinky finger nail, one clump, dark brown/red. His urite looked white but soft and solid. The vet said not to worry about that, it may just be something his body is sheding out?

Is the vet aware that your cham seems to be continuing to decline/is not responding to the prescribed treatment?
Also, you had started then stopped the Baytril, then resumed it sometime later?
Maybe you should continue the Baytril but I would ask the vet if you should continue the Baytril after letting her know his current condition, instead of guessing.
The latest picture of your cham showed him looking very listless with sunken-in eyes and a "pinched" veil.
Combine that with his latest possibly blood-tinged stool and it makes me wonder if he isn't ill with some type of parasite.
I know that some things can give stool a reddish tinge like Repashy, IIRC.
An examination of the stool by a vet would reveal whether or not parasites are present. (That would be the fecal float which you may have seen recommended on the forum in some discussions.)
If it hasn't been disposed of, it can be saved in a plastic bag/plastic wrap and kept refrigerated not frozen, until a vet can analyze it tomorrow.
Unless you're sure that this vet knows reptile medicine well and was not made aware that your cham does not appear to be responding to the prescribed treatment, I'd be inclined to solicit another opinion from a vet that is known for treating reptiles and preferably chams but if you're lacking the money to do so, I don't know what to tell you.

Well I talked to the vet tech, how had talked to the vet. I did tell them he seems worse then he was Mon when I took him in. And to be honest I know that its hard for them to actually "see whats wrong" over the phone, but Im just not staisfied with what I was told. Im gonna take his stool down and have it tested tomaro.

Pending results, my boyfriend and I are gonna discuss the options. I spoke with my mother today asking if instead of getting me something for christmas if she would help with vet bills. She thinks Im kinda silly about him-she doesn't get it! But Im gonna talk with her again after the stool test, and after I talk with the bf.

I really hope that the vet can figure out something from the stool so we can get him better. Im not feeling very hopeful though, tring but I can't watch him seemingly getting worse without actually knowing what exactly is wrong wiht him. If the test comeback with something managable then Im gonna beg for help with that for Christmas.

Its hard, Iam doing all I can, he is actually all Ive been doing lately.

Wish us luck!!

Unfortunately, to many people who don't own any, reptiles are just scaly, slimy, creepy creatures and that anyone would actually care about them seems senseless.
That's one reason why it's nice to have an online forum to discuss the little critters with fellow cham fans.
You're certainly very dedicated to Google and I can tell that you are trying your very best to help him.
If you're just bringing the stool up to the vet, maybe you could snap some pics of Google on your phone and ask for a moment of the vet's time.
Let the vet know that he is not improving/is getting worse, show him/her the pics and ask what should be done. Maybe the pictures will convince him/her that you're not exaggerating.
Please know that I wish you the very best and am hoping that Google recovers.
Best of luck tomorrow!
I'm sure I'm not the only one rooting for Google here!

So sad to report that Google past away sometime in the night. We love him and will miss him very much!
I had a dream that our little girl and I kept trying to drive to the store and every time we got to the store, I would notice Google clinging to my shirt in the middle of my chest. So we would take him home and go back to the store. When we got there, he would be cling to my chest again. We kept saying silly Google and would take him home again. This happened a few times. I think it was Google tring to tell me he will always be in our hearts <3
Thanks you all for your help and support the last week or so. You guys really helped me out.

R.I.P. Google, our silly Google. We will miss you so much, we love you!!

:( So sorry for your loss. May Google rest in peace. Just know you did as best as you could and have learned a lot through this experience. Hopefully you will get another cham some day and what you have learned will make it's life even better.

Someday I would love to get another little guy, I think it might be a while though. But when we do get a G2 (Google the 2nd) We will be much more informed on our care and diet. And enjoy a longer life with him =)
