Please help

It has been covered but I forgot to toss out a welcome to you Cat to the community and your new addiction! I mean addition... I swear...

Anyways, yes the information will almost seem daunting BUT I promise you the more familiar you get with your little one(s) the easier it begins to seem. Through the hardest moments, you learn a lot on how to view and understand your chameleon. I thought that my roughest moment was going to be acclimating my Meller's and figuring out to keep him alive after I lost my little Dav... but in all honesty? He was completely fine. A bit bruised up from shipment, but with tender care and obviously a few good laughs you will get the hang of it. Personally, the hardest part for me is walking out the door for work every day. That's just me though.

Thanks so much for the welcome. My friends have already told me im a lil obsessed with eddie. Lol My youngest son seems to think my world now revolves more around eddie than him these days. Too funny. I just cant get over how interesting he is and I find him watching me as much as I watch him.

I think you want to push liquids a bit. He is looking a little dehydrated. His eyes are just a little sunken. A shower might be a good thing for him if you can arrange.

no need to be rude when this person is trying to do right.

I don't know why you're choosing to believe it was being rude, all I was doing was telling her she has some things to change to better the cham, it wasn't intended rudely, so don't assume. If you would read my other posts saying "thank god you're one of the people to actually care about their chams", you would know.

Thanks I just put him in the shower for a bit and he seemed to like it. Not water directly on him but he got the warm mist. :) by pushing water em you madn I should mist him more throughout the day? He has a drip system too but ill em what ever it takes.

And yes karma I did feel a lil attacked when you first chimed in. Im not use to being called ignorant nor do I believe I am. I am just here looking for help. Had it not been for david I probably wouldnt have continued with this forum. But I can look past all that and take your good advise and move on. After all you really dont know me.

Oh I apologize it wasn't meant rude at all, and you're not at all ignorant when it comes to wanting to do the right thing for this cham, he looks really plump and nice! I think you're doing a great job, and better than some even long time owners, you gained alot of respect, especially from the more than kids comment haha. I guess I just need to realize that in different places some things are taken as rude and some aren't.

LMAO no ide trade 3 boys for one for eddie! Lol and I BIRTHED THEM! Lol na I love my sons but the fact that animals dont talk back or ask me for money really makes me wonder sometimes.

They don't ask for money? Oh just wait til' you spoil him... I spend my babysitting money right away (about 150 bucks for 14 hrs of babysitting).

Lol too funny. Dang thats pretty good money for babysitting! Hey tell me the best way to start getting eddie to trust me enough to let me hold him. He puffs up sometimes and lunges sometimes too.

Ok he has held onto my finger with one hand already. But thats as far as he will go. I dont want him to feel stressed out so I dont try too often. Maybe once or twice a week. Not making much progress.

If you keep trying eventually he will loosen, since you don't try much maybe that's why he's still a bit stressed. He'll get adapted to have this strange humanoid come hold him ahah.

I'm glad the shower helped a bit! Just do that once a day for a while and keep a close eye on his urate (the white stuff with his poo). When it starts clearing up just PM me. Kinda hoping for this guy a bit I guess. Hope everything pulls through!
