What is this?

That doesnt look right in the other thread. Do you have more pictures? It doesn't look like any other sperm Plug I've ever seen.

When I get back home, I'll take some other pictures and post them. He did have a BM so, I assume this is a good sign?? Thanks for replying

I'm hoping it isnt a hemipenal prolapse gone necrotic, but I wouldnt know for sure. Hopefully more people can help you out when you put up more pictures.

It looks like his hemipenis is prolapsed. Im no expert though. I highly recommend a visit to the vets as a prolapsed penis can go bad and cause further infections. Not trying to scare you but that what it looks like to me.

I had the pet shop lady look @ it and she wasthe one who said.it was "sperm plug". When I get back home, I will be bringing him to an exotics vet near my area. Ijust wanted some insight :)

also, if you fill out this form people can let you know if there's anything in your set-up that needs adjusting, although I understand you can't answer a few of them :)

Fingers crossed he's not got too serious a problem. It sounds like he's found a good home

Now that I've seen the pix, it doesn't look very pluggy to me. I've never seen a hemipenal prolapse go necrotic, so I would have NO idea what that looks like, so I am just as confused as you are. Ugh!

I hope you figure it out soon and let us know how he is doing - you seem to be doing a fantastic job so far!!!

Guys....I have no clue of this little dudes history. I literally JUST found him yesterday!!

I understand, I just meant to fill out the details of how you've set up his cage & plan to feed, etc. It might be helpful to you. I know you can't answer a lot of the questions, I just copied and pasted the standard form. Only trying to be helpful :)

If it is indeed something serious, he needs a vet soon. It could become infected and cause other issues.

Well, This is what came out :|

I pulled it out after soaking him. It appears to be a sperm plug. He is actually being more active now that I've done that, however he wasn't pleased with the process. Hope my new friend is ok :(

I'm glad it was a sperm plug. I've never seen one look like that! Usually they are that white/yellow color at the end.

Yeah! It looks really weird, but I pulled VERY slowly he clawed the crap outta me and hissed! But, when it was done, he was SO MUCH HAPPIER! I mean, from what I gathered. He's crawling all over the place and comes to the door to see me when I walk in the room!! My dad and I are working on his enclosure right now. I can't WAIT for him to be able to have a nice, clean, BIG place to roam around in! I haveto travel 2 hours in a car home with him (I'm @ my parents house). Any suggestions for travel??

I suggest putting a rag in a box and putting him in there. Since it's dark they tend to fall asleep. Then he just sleeps through the whole ride.

Congratulations on your find and your first home reptile medical treatment! You're going to be a good chameleon Mommy.

Put him in a opaque box with some air holes poked in it it. The rag is for him to hold onto so dry is better than wet.
